Unique, Versatile Spaces

Our couples often tell us the same thing: “We barely had to decorate-- you did the work for us.” With so much character already built in, Black Walnut Farm is a unique wedding venue with a naturally beautiful canvas and eclectic design moments everywhere you look. The setting speaks for itself, so your personal touches don’t have to shout! Just show up, add your story, and let the magic unfold.

At Black Walnut Farm, no two events look the same-- and that’s exactly how we like it. Every inch of the property tells a story, and every celebration becomes its own original chapter.

We created our spaces to be varied, with a playful twist: impeccably and thoughtfully designed, but with a little wink. There is truly no corner of the farm that isn’t a spectacular photo backdrop, and we’ve considered every detail.

What makes it even more special? Every space can be used in a way that feels completely personal. Imagine a welcome party in the Rosé Garden, a forest ceremony followed by cocktails in the meadow, a late-night vinyl session in the Lounge, or a vibey after-party around the bonfire; whatever you fancy, the weekend is yours to shape. The possibilities are endless—and our team is here to help you dream up a flow that fits your vision perfectly.

Sun filters in through the windows of an antique barn filled with farm dining tables and mismatched chairs.

The Dance Hall: our main venue space, named for the antique brass sconces reclaimed from, you guessed it, a former dance hall. Seat up to 100 guests for dinner, or open up the whole floor for a fabulous cocktail-style fete!

The Parlor: a cheeky, Victorian-inspired sitting room with a ridiculous pink sofa and ornate, gilded-age-style fixtures.

The Bar: providing a sultry spot set away from the dancing area— the perfect place to order up a Black Walnut Old Fashioned, Kings Highway Spritz, or a glass of local wine before heading back to the dance floor.

The Rosé Garden: Our ‘secret garden’ with antique stone benches and garden furniture, in its own hidden-away nook.

The Lawn: Classic, green, and open, with the woods and barn as a picturesque backdrop.

The Lounge: Moody, cozy, and completely unique. Our speakeasy-style lounge is outfitted with leather club chairs, Persian rugs, a gallery wall, and a vintage vinyl collection. Perfect for sipping whiskey, playing records, and mingling.

The Shed Bar: Tucked inside an Amish garden shed lives a hidden bar! Perfect for cocktail hour, desserts, favors or other treats.

The Farmhouse

The stone farmhouse is the heart of Black Walnut Farm. Built by Dutch settlers in 1747 as an original “stop house” on Kings Highway, this lovingly curated home sleeps 8 comfortably and will leave you dreaming of a bygone era. Yet, it’s been updated with all the modern conveniences (shout-out to air conditioning!).
