Design and Atmosphere Enhancements
This is where the sparkle happens. From glowing bistro lights and dramatic dance-floor color to beautifully styled florals, these enhancements are about creating moments that feel elevated, immersive, and undeniably celebratory. (Yes, this is the part where guests start saying, “Wow.”)
VIP Lighting
Our professional lighting design has the power to completely transform the barn and surrounding spaces, shifting the atmosphere from warm and romantic to full-throttle, disco-lit, and made for the dance floor.
Want the barn glowing in your wedding colors? Done.
Ready to turn the dance floor into a disco inferno? We’ve got you.
And outdoors, our bistro lighting can transform the lawn and gathering areas into a glowing, open-air wonderland— twinkling, cinematic, and magical.
From lighting the front of the barn to washing the space in color, glowing up the lawn (literally), and making that disco ball truly dazzle, our lighting packages are one of the most impactful ways to shape the energy of the entire celebration.
Shine bright like a diamond, and prepare to enter your very own Pink Pony Club: our lighting transforms a night that feels bold, joyful, and doesn’t hold back.
Floral and Decor Styling
Our floral and décor styling services bring romance, texture, and visual storytelling; whether your inspiration leans sweet and simple, rustic and wild, or statement-making Bridgerton vibes.
This offering is designed for couples who wish to provide their own bulk flowers and decor items, and want beautiful results— but without the chaos of DIY. You bring the ingredients; we bring the artistry. Loose flowers (fresh or faux), your own décor pieces, and selections from our Something Borrowed Collection come together under the hands of our expert stylist, who installs everything on your wedding day with a practiced eye for balance, proportion, and flow.
Tabletop arrangements, ceremony arch florals, and personal flowers for the wedding couple are all thoughtfully styled on-site
This service is not a substitute for full-service floral design, rather, it offers a streamlined, in-house option that helps avoid last-minute DIY setup and ensures the space feels intentional and well-composed.
Couples working with an outside florist are welcome to do so, and our team is happy to coordinate styling responsibilities to ensure a smooth, collaborative setup.
FAQ: Wedding Enhancements
-
Absolutely. You can host a beautiful, successful wedding using our included lighting alone— additional lighting is never required.
Our standard venue rental includes permanently installed lighting throughout the property: outdoor string lights framing the front and back barn entrances, along the paths, and around the Shed Bar; plus interior barn lighting including dimmable sconces, chandeliers, string lights. And yes— there is always a spotlight on the disco ball.
Our specialty lighting packages are available for couples who want to turn up the energy and create a more immersive, party-forward atmosphere. These enhancements use professional equipment and require additional labor and expertise, which is why they’re offered as add-ons. (For context, outside lighting companies often start around $5,000+.)
One practical note: if you’re planning dinner or activities on the front or back lawns after sunset without tenting, those areas can be quite dim. This is where additional bistro lighting across the lawn can make a big difference.
-
Possibly! You’ll have a consultation with our stylist, who can advise based on your vision, timing, and overall scope. Because this service is structured as a day rate for one team member, availability depends on how extensive your wish list is, and an additional fee may apply.
If your floral plans are especially elaborate or involve a large wedding party, we may recommend working with a full-service florist instead— and we’re always happy to make thoughtful introductions.
-
In the summertime (usually July-late September), many of our groups source their blooms from a local flower farm (or even go there to pick their own!).
We’ve had other groups buy from a wholesale retailer (ie, Costco); and because we like to support local businesses, we recommend the garden center at Adams Fairacre Farms in Kingston.
You will get a consult with your stylist who will advise on the quantity needed for your vision (so, get your Pinterest boards ready!) -
We don’t offer a Day-Of–only coordination package, and that’s intentional. Across the industry, it’s widely acknowledged that “Day-Of” coordination is something of a myth— successful wedding days require lead time to review plans, confirm vendors, and anticipate logistics.
Our coordination offering begins in the final month leading up to your wedding to ensure a smooth, well-run celebration. That said, you’re welcome to hire an outside coordinator who offers Day-Of services, which meets our minimum requirement. The choice is yours; our role is to ensure the day operates smoothly. Our advice: your Coordinator is the conductor of your wedding orchestra; and it’s not an area we recommend cutting corners!
-
Yes, with a few important guidelines to ensure everything runs seamlessly:
Your coordinator must be a professional with wedding coordination experience. This role requires managing many moving parts, troubleshooting in real time, and leading a vendor team. (Your wonderfully organized aunt is probably amazing— but this is a job that requires professional experience.)
They cannot be a guest at the wedding. Coordination is a full-focus, operational role.
We’ll need to have a pre-event call with them— ideally before you finalize hiring— to review responsibilities and ensure expectations align.
They must remain on-site through the end of breakdown, overseeing personal items and ensuring everything is packed and returned appropriately.
These guidelines help protect your experience, your belongings, and the flow of the entire weekend.
-
Most couples don’t need to finalize enhancement decisions right away; and they are ALWAYS booked separately from the venue rental.
Many selections, like lighting, styling, or coordination support, naturally come together as your plans take shape. We’ll guide you on timing during the planning process so decisions feel informed, not rushed.
Availability is limited for some services, so we recommend confirming enhancements once your vision and weekend flow are clear.
