Tours at Black Walnut Farm
Because Black Walnut Farm is also a private residence, tours are offered by appointment only.
Touring Tips — Please Read Before Booking
Tour Availability
During our prime event season, April through November, tours are offered primarily on Wednesdays, with afternoon and after-work appointments usually available.
We do not offer tours during wedding weekends. Every couple celebrating here has exclusive use of the property, complete privacy, and our full attention — which we know you’ll appreciate when it’s your turn.
If you don’t see a time on the calendar that works for you, please reach out. We’re often able to coordinate another weekday appointment.
During our off-season, from mid-November through early April, tours are generally offered on Sunday afternoons.
Before Your Visit
Before scheduling your tour, please take a look through our Wedding Planning Guide, which includes current pricing and details about celebrating at Black Walnut Farm.
We also want to be transparent about the bigger financial picture before you make the trip. Most couples planning a wedding weekend at Black Walnut Farm have a total wedding budget of approximately $65,000–$100,000+, including the venue, food and beverage, photography, flowers, entertainment, and other wedding expenses.
If that range feels comfortable for the celebration you’re planning, we’d love to show you around.
Vibe Check
If you’re looking for a conventional ballroom or a wedding day that follows a strict script, we may not be the right fit.
If you’re drawn to beautiful surroundings, warm hospitality, great food and drinks, and a celebration with plenty of room for personality, you’ll probably feel very much at home here.
Date Availability
If you have a specific date or season that is firm, please check with us before booking your tour so we can confirm availability.

Tour appointments are released approximately four weeks in advance.

Tour Guests + Pets
You’re welcome to bring anyone who needs to see the venue before you make a decision.
Black Walnut Farm is pet-friendly, but we’ve found that dogs can make it harder to stay focused during a tour. You may get more out of your visit if your fur babies sit this one out.
Cancellations
If your plans change, we appreciate at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer the appointment to another couple.
