Because we are a private residence, tours are offered by appointment only.
Touring Tips— please read before booking your tour:
Tour Availability
During our prime event season (April-November), tours are offered primarily on Wednesdays— and occasional Sunday afternoons if we don’t have a property buyout. We do not offer tours during event rentals as a courtesy to our wedding couples. Please note, we are generally unable to accommodate requests for Saturday tours, due to events taking place.
If you don’t see a tour time that works for you, feel free to contact us and we can work on a custom time for you.
Before Your Visit
Before scheduling, please review our Pricing Guide. By booking a tour, you confirm that our rental fee is a match for your total wedding budget.

Black Walnut Farm is designed for couples who want to do things their own way, care more about atmosphere than formality, and don’t need a rulebook to have a great time. If you’re looking for a conventional ballroom or a wedding day that follows a strict script, this may not be the right fit.If you’re excited by creative freedom, warm hospitality, and a celebration that unfolds naturally, you’ll likely feel right at home here.
Date Availability
If you have a specific date or season for your event that is firm, please confirm with us that we have availability prior to booking your tour. (Please note: our 2026 wedding season is fully booked).

Tour Guests and Pets
We welcome you to bring anyone with you that needs to see the venue prior to booking. While we are pet-friendly, we’ve noticed that dogs joining the tours can distract from being fully present with us— so, you may wish to leave your fur babies at home to get the most out of your time with us.
Cancellations
We appreciate 48-hours notice if you need to cancel— we usually have a waiting list for our tours!
